New Theme: Begin with giving the theme a name and author, and then choose colors for your theme with the appropriate fields. The preview will update on the fly.
Use existing theme as a base: You can copy an existing theme by going to the theme repository and clicking on the content_copy icon. Give the theme a new name and author and submit.
